Kikam Technical Institute is situated at Kikam in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region of Ghana, off the Takoradi-Elubo highway between Asanta and Esiama. Founded in February 1960 by the late Abraham Acquah under the name Acumen Commercial Technical School, it was renamed Kikam Technical Institute in 1963 and now operates under the Ghana TVET Service.
